Julie G Cruise Collection

I'm such a terrible blogger lately!! I do apologize. I will have quite a few posts in the next few days to make up for it, though. Today I have the Julie G Cruise Collection for you! Oh man, if you've never tried Julie G polishes before, please, stare at my pics, go out and buy one, and prepare yourself to become addicted. They're fabulous! Now, let's get into the collection!!

First up is Santorini:

Julie G Santorini

Santorini is a gorgeous periwinkle/cornflower blue cream with an amazing formula. There's tiny bit of shimmer, too. This went on like butta'. So smooth! This is 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat.

Next up is Canary Islands:

Julie G Canary Islands

I'm usually not a huge fan of yellow, but this yellow actually had a decent formula. You'll definitely need more than one coat, though. And the color is showing up a bit brighter on camera, but it's a really pretty yellow. This is 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat.

Neeext is Rio de Janeiro:

Julie G Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro has a spectacular formula! This is a one-coater!! It's such a vivid, creamy radiant orchid color. So pretty!! This is 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat.

The next polish is Old San Juan:

Julie G Old San Juan

Old San Juan is a creamy, bright tangerine orange color. It went on so smooth, too, just like the others. I'm not a huge fan of orange polishes, but this is one of the best that I own. This is 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat.

Up next is Tahiti:

Julie G Tahiti

This is my favorite out of the collection! It's so gorgeous!! It's a minty green with a slight blue shimmer running throughout it. So smooth and creamy going on! LOVE!! This is 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat.

Finally, this is Miami Beach:

Julie G Miami Beach

Miami Beach is a reddish coral color, although, it's showing a bit brighter on camera. Like all the others, it had a super smooth, creamy formula. This would look great on your toes, with a tan! So pretty!! This is 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat.

Overall, this collection is a must-have! I know I'm a bit late to the party with these swatches, but I saw them in Rite Aid the other day, so I know they're still available. They retail for $3.99. Gogetchusome!!

Finger Paints Spring 2014 Collection

Hey, guys! Sorry, I've been a little absent lately, but hopefully I make up for that soon. Today I have the six new polishes from the Spring 2014 Finger Paints collection. It contains 3 creams and 3 glitter toppers. Let's get started!

First up, Dream I Can Fly:

Dream I Can Fly is a gorgeous sky blue cream. It's coming across a bit brighter on camera, but it really is a vivid, beautiful blue. The formula was just okay. It's a bit thick and streaky. It dries to a wax-like finish. This is 2 coats with 1 coat of top coat.

Next is Crystal Springs:

Crystal Springs is the blue glitter topper from the collection. It has matte blue and green microglitters, as well as holographic silver shards and silver shimmer. It's really pretty and unique, I don't have another polish like it in my vast collection. There's 2 coats on the accent finger, 1 coat on the rest and 1 coat of top coat on all.

Up now is Springtime Bloom:

Springtime Bloom is a bubblegum pink cream. It really is the perfect pink color! The formula was kind of crap, like Dream I Can Fly.....a bit streaky and thick. It also has a wax-like finish without top coat. This is 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat.

Next up, A Pink Of Pixie:

A Pink of Pixie is the pink glitter topper. It's full of matter pink hexagons, tinsel and microglitter. It also has holographic silver microglitters. The accent finger is 2 coats, 1 coat on the rest, plus 1 coat of top coat on all.

The next polish is Mistful Thinking:

Mistful Thinking is a pretty lime green cream. The formula wasn't as bad as the other 2 cream polishes, but it was still a bit thick. It really is a stunning color, though. It's very bright and vivid. This is 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat.

Finally, there's Shower With Flowers:

Shower With Flowers is the green glitter topper, and it's exactly like A Pink Of Pixie, but with matte green glitters and instead of silver glitter, it's gold. Again, I have 2 coats on my accent finger, 1 coat on the rest, plus 1 coat of top coat on all.

If you feel like you've seen the pink and green glitter toppers somewhere before, you're right. They are EXACT dupes for Milani's Sugar Burst and Sugar Coated. Below are the comparison pics:

See? Exactly alike. If you have one, you definitely don't need the other. Other than that, the creams are really pretty, but maybe not super unique. I think the one must-have of this collection is Crystal Springs. It's just a topper I've never seen before. I bought mine at Sally Beauty Supply, and all of April, nail polish is B2G1 free.

I'll be back soon with another indie polish spotlight!
