Wet N Wild Spring 2015 - Silver Lake Megalast Nail Polishes

Hey, guys! Long time, no post, eh? I'm not even going to promise to post more, because really, I don't know when I can consistently. But for today, I have a new post for you!

As you get tell from the title, I have swatches from the Spring 2015 Wet N Wild Silver Lake collection. This collection consists of six polishes; five cremes and one shimmer. Let's get into the swatches!

First up is Tree Hugger:

wet n wild tree hugger

Tree Hugger is a pastel pistachio green creme. The formula was pretty smooth, although the wide brushes in the Megalast polish bottles are a bit wonky with this collection. Most of them had uneven bristles on the brush, so it made application a bit messy. This is two coats and one coat of top coat.

Up next is A Latte Love:

wet n wild a latte love

A Latte love is a light nude creme. Latte is the perfect name for it. This had the same smooth formula as Tree Hugger, with the same wonky brush. Shown is two coats and one coat of top coat.

The next polish is Stream Of Consciousness:

wet n wild stream of consciousness

This polish is the only shimmer in the collection. It's a very sheer baby pink. I actually really like it, despite it being so sheer. It gives off a really delicate, feminine vibe, but it has that shimmer that I love in nail polishes. This is three thin coats and one coat of top coat.

Up next is Wear Skinny Jeans:

wet n wild wear skinny jeans

I'm a sucker for blue, and Wear Skinny Jeans is a lovely light periwinkle blue creme. Again, it has that smooth formula that applies very well. This is two coats and one coat of top coat.

The next polish is Warm Filter:

wet n wild warm filter

Warm Filter is a pastel coral creme. I feel like a robot repeating myself, but again, this had that great smooth formula all the other polishes have, This is two coats and one coat of top coat.

Finally, we have Reject The Mainstream:

wet n wild reject the mainstream

Reject The Mainstream is a pastel lilac creme that applied like a dream....so smooth and  the brush was actually pretty decent on this one. This is two coats and one coat of top coat.

I added some nail art to this last swatch,,,,I used LA Girl Extra! Extra! as a glitter gradient, and then watermarbled Wear Skinny Jeans, Tree Hugger and Warm Filter. I used clear polish in between the colors so that Reject The Mainstream would show below. I topped all of my nails with China Glaze Fairy Dust. Here are some pics of it below:

Overall, this is a really pretty collection for spring, and at $1.99 each, these polishes are a great staple to add to your collection, especially if you love watermarbling. I found mine at Rite Aid, but they're also carried at Walgreens and KMart.
